Q. Do you do Food Tastings?
A. We are happy to arrange a tasting of your chosen menu. This will be charged to your final account.

Q. Can we have a choice menu?
A. We ask for you to choose a set menu for the entire group from a selection of menus which will be made available to you. All of these can be viewed on-line (www.jerseyboathouse.com). There is a selection of three and four course menus and buffets available.

Q. Can you cater for special diets?
A. We are happy to provide for guests with particular dietary requirement provided we are advised in advance of the details.

Q. Is it possible for large groups to dine Al Fresco?
A. The terrace areas are limited in size and would only accommodate a gathering of ten persons.

Q. How long does it take to serve the meal?
A. We allow 2 hours for the service of the meal it does however depend on the number of people attending.

Q. Do you cater for children/babies?
A. We have a separate children’s menu or big eaters can have a half portion of the adult menu half price.

Q. Do you have any highchairs?
A. We have 3.

Q. What time do we have the Restaurant from?
A. For lunch function the restaurant runs from 12 noon to 5pm. Dinner functions run from 7pm till 1am. The premises must be vacated by 1.30am

Q. Can we have extension to the timings offered?
A. Yes,if required an extension from the licensing authority can be obtained.

Q. Do you supply flowers?
A. Our nominated supplier is Mark Howe Flowers.

Q. Can you suggest some photographers?
A. We do not have any photographers that we suggest.

Q. Can we have fireworks?
A. Yes, at your own cost, it has to be provided by STARBURST FIREWORKS our nominated supplier, Permission will have to be granted by the Parish, until we have permission for your chosen date we can not confirm that this will be allowed to take place.

Q. Is there a private bar in the Boat House?
A. There is no private bar although the entire first floor is available for private hire; a bar is present in this areA.

Q. Is there an area in which we can have drinks prior to sitting for our meal?
A. Yes, however the bar area is limited in size, but there are two external terraces which can be heated for your use if the weather is OK.

Q. How much does it cost for an additional glass of Bellini, Bucks Fizz or Wine?
A. Wine from £4.00 Champagne Cocktails from £7.50
A Wine and bar list is available to view on-line should you wish to have a better understanding of the costs associated.

Q. Do Boat House supply menus/place cards?
A. We have menus and place cards available for your use, should you however wish to provide these for yourself you are welcome to do so. We do not charge an additional amount for the provision of these.

Q. Is there a secure area in which we can store our belongings?
A. There is a small cloak room available for your use which remains locked and is only accessible to our staff.

Q. When do you require final numbers?
A. We require confirmed numbers five days prior to the date of your event.

Q. For how many people can you provide private dining?
A. We are delighted to serve private events for up to 100 guests.

Q. Can you cater for disabled guests?
A. We have a lift which allows access to the first floor restaurant, a ramp for access to the main building and accessible facilities located on the ground floor.

Q. How do I make a booking?
A. You can book online using our Open Table booking system, call, write, fax or email us with details of your requirements and preferred date we will then reserve the facilities requested. This must be done in conjunction with our Event Terms and Conditions which can be viewed on-line or we can send a copy of these to you. We are happy for the organiser to visit the venue prior to booking should you so wish.

Q. Can I provisionally reserve a date if I am unsure?
A. Yes. Your booking will be provisionally held for a period of 1 week.

Q. How do I confirm my booking?
A. We will need a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions and Event schedule along with the specified deposit.

Q. Could you offer a breakfast meeting?
A. We are happy to consider any arrangements for a bespoke package the costs for which would be related to the requested event.

Q. Is it easy to get taxis?
A. The Taxi company we use is Domino Cabs 01534 747047

Q. Do you take wedding bookings?
A. We host wedding receptions & have a civil wedding licence.

Q. Where do we park?
A. There is a large public car park adjacent to the property we do not have a private car park and can not therefore guarantee that parking will be available to you.

Q. Do you do themed events?
A. We are happy to consider any form of arrangements and if we can assist in these we will be happy to do so.

Q. Do you provide decorations for events?
A. We provide crackers and table decorations for all Christmas functions, should you require decoration for any other event these would need to be provided by yourselves based upon our agreement with the arrangements you wish to make.

Q. When do you offer Christmas menus and events?
A. Christmas menus are available from 1st Dec – 24th Dec.

Q. Can you have exclusive use of the entire building?
A. This would be considered on an individual basis dependent on the request. The costs would be formulated dependant on date and style of event.

Q. Can we smoke in the restaurant?
A. No. All the Boathouse Restaurant and Bar are none smoking.
